Description: Scholarship after Tenure
Panel: Amit Tandon, Ramprasad Balasubramanian, John Buck, Sukalyan Sengupta, David Brown, Liudong Xing, and Walaa Mogawer
The Panel will discuss various aspects to achieve successful scholarship after tenure. The aspects include generating grants from traditional & non-traditional sources, writing collaborative proposals within & outside the university to take advantage of cost sharing, making use of seed grants from the university, staying active on peer-reviewed publications & review papers, conducting unfunded research through teaching assistants support, identifying new research areas, and attending conferences to stay up-to-date on research topics.
