Description: Tuesday, September 30, 12:30 – 1:30pm, Library 314 - Strategies for Advising Large Student Cohorts (Charlotte Hamlin, Artisanry)

As the University progresses with recruiting efforts, there is a critical need to advise larger and larger cohorts of students. Oftentimes these important duties fall on the shoulders of the least experienced faculty members. Professor Hamlin presents organizational strategies for advising students early and often. From preparing and updating program outlines, to enrollment to helping with elective options, her techniques will help you and your students stay on track for timely graduation.
