Description: The SouthCoast community has been hard hit by addiction in recent years--most alarmingly addiction to heroin, opioids and prescription painkillers. Record numbers of drug overdoses are being reported. Addressing an epidemic of such alarming heights requires a community-wide response. "Addressing Addiction as a Community", a panel discussion, will feature several addiction experts, law enforcement, and other community leaders. This FREE Community Forum will be held at The New Bedford Whaling Museum's Cook Memorial Theater, 18 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA.

Note: Bus service between the Main Campus and downtown New Bedford is available via the SRTA Bus 9 (http://www.srtabus.com/new-bedford).
