Public Speaking, Speaking to Organize

When: Wednesday, July 1, 2015

Where: Workers' Education Program 800 Purchase St., New Bedford, MA
Cost: $20.00 to be paid at the door
Description: This program is presented by the UMD Labor Education Center.
By participating in this class, you will help build your confidence and skills to speak before groups in order to build your organization through public speaking. We will also discuss and practice how to effectively engage in one on one conversations for solidarity. This class will be co-led by Camilo Viveiros of the Labor Council and Scott Molloy of University of RI and formerly a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union.

The class will take place at the UMD Worker Education classrooms at 800 Purchase St., New Bedford.
