Description: In this session, we explore how we can defend the basic American value of welcoming immigrants to our shores. We will discuss local, as well as national initiatives, to support immigrants’ ability to build new lives in the U.S. and celebrate their diverse contributions to the fabric of American society. Participants will gain an understanding of how they might contribute to these efforts.
