Workshop Description:
As the University continually expands its borders, through physical international exchange and through expanding its virtual classrooms, a number of new issues arise regarding effective teaching strategies. Faculty members welcoming international students into their classrooms face challenges including but not limited to language barriers, differing cultural expectations and differing prior experiences. Professor Rosa will focus on an exploration of curriculum and instruction in an effort to further engage international students.
