Description: Professor Doug Roscoe, recipient of the 2013 Provost’s Award for Innovative Use of Technology will discuss his strategy for utilizing customized online video tutorials to instruct students in the use of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software. Doug will discuss advantages, challenges and data that support the effectiveness of the strategy in PSC 349, Research Methods in Political Science.
