Description: In this workshop participants will learn about the different methods of communications and how to make the most of each of them. Participants will:
* Review what communication is and the various communication channels
* Identify barriers to communication and how to overcome them
* Use the STAR method to speak on the spot
* Practice how to listen actively and effectively
* Ask good questions
* Use appreciative inquiry as a communication tool
* Establish common ground with others
* Use “I” messages
