Leadership Foundations

When: Wednesday, April 1, 2015
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Description: No matter what their traits or skills, leaders have different philosophies and carry out their roles in a wide variety of styles. Before one can understand the leadership styles of others, however, s/he must first understand their own style. Often, the leadership style depends on the situation, the institution, and the people with whom the leader interacts. In this workshop, participants will:
• Gain an awareness of a variety of theories that explain successful leadership.
• Gain first-hand knowledge about their personal leadership skills and style.
• Learn how to best make their leadership style successfully work with subordinates', supervisors', and colleagues' leadership styles.
