Community Mindfulness Meditation Group

Description: The UMass Dartmouth Mindfulness Meditation Group will continue to meet on Wednesdays from 12:15-1:00pm throughout the Spring 2019 semester in the Campus Center Reflection Room.

Mindfulness meditation is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with an attitude of nonjudgment and acceptance. This group is open to the campus community. People are welcome to drop in at any time during the semester. No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is needed. Meditation guidance is provided. This group provides an opportunity to practice mindfulness together, discuss the practice, and build community with each other.
