  • Description: The second workshop in the three-part series covers the use of Photoshop’s sophisticated painting and selecting tools. Participants learn about blending modes, as well as the creation of custom brushes. The selecting tools are used to separate objects from their backgrounds to create a composite image. Previous Photoshop experience, or Part 1 of the Introduction class is required. This workshop will take place in the Library, room 128.   • Description: DocuSign is our tool for sending, signing, and managing electronic contracts and forms that require legal signatures. This workshop covers the process of signing a form, creating an ad-hoc contract that requires one signature, as well as a more complex form that requires multiple fields and signatures, and can be reused. The process of sharing a template with others is included. No previous DocuSign experience is required. DocuSign licenses are managed by Steven Splinter (ssplinter@umassd.edu).   • Description: Join the Center for Women, Gender & Sexuality for the Queer Arts Council of New Bedford's 6th Annual AHA! Pride Block Party at the Steeple Playhouse and Upper William Street! This annual celebration of LGBTQ+ culture, history, and pride will take place on William Street between 6th and 8th Streets. Starting at 5:00PM the street will be full of local craft vendors, community partners, circus arts, food trucks, live artists, and street performers. Inside the Steeple Playhouse don't miss the live stage show from 6:00 – 8:00PM featuring drag artists, spoken word poetry, and live musicians hosted by Providence's own Dr. Claire Annette, who is sure to bring the house down! From 8:00 - 10:00PM dance the night away with DJ Math3ca (Boston) on the decks. Be sure to wear your most festive Pride attire to let everyone know that #rainbowisthenewbeige ! The AHA!
