Description: Learn about Portion Distortion- a review of interesting insights on how our brain’s expectations of portions are very different from the body’s requirements. And what do these popular clichés “You are what you eat”; “See what you eat not eat what you see” and “It’s all about moderation” mean?. We will explore these topics; have concrete visual examples all the while sampling and learning to make some delicious and nutritious salads.
- When you go out to dinner do you eat the entire dinner or come home with a doggy bag?
- Do you eat the whole bagel or just half?
- Do you eat the whole chicken breast?
