Today's Challenges for Public Sector Workers and Unions

Description: This program is offered by the UMD Labor Education Center.
We will work together to deepen our knowledge and understanding of how public employees, and particularly public sector unions are under fire from privatization and how we are fighting back. We will have a broader discussion, then hear about statewide, and national campaigns, to confont privatization. This class will be co-led by Josà Soler, of the Labor Education Center and Anneta Argyres of the UMass Boston Labor Extension Program.

The class will be held at the UMD Worker Education Program classrooms at 800 Purchase St., New Bedford.
