Description: The Challenges of Legislating for Animal Rights
Lenore M. Montanaro serves as Director of Advocacy with the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Lenore serves as Co-Chair of the Companion Animal Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee. She also serves as founder and Chair of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee. Lenore will be discussing her experiences and the challenges she has faced in pursuing animal rights legislation.
