Join us for our 2nd Annual Italian Film Series at UMass Dartmouth! As a fitting topic for the current global situation, this semester we will be showing films related to the Years of Lead (Anni di piombo), a period of socio-political turmoil and political terrorism between the 1960s and 1980s in Italy.
Our second showing in film series will be Guido che sfido le Brigate Rosse (2007):
The members of local cell of the Red Brigades try to storm into the Italsider plant but they find themselves face to face with the trade-unionists, and more particularly with one of their leaders, Guido Rossa. For the first time ever in their history, the Red Brigades decide to kill not only a worker but a unionist as well.
