Description: Italian Film Series - "Romanzo criminale / Criminal Novel" (2005)
7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017
Liberal Arts room 117

Join us for our 2nd Annual Italian Film Series at UMass Dartmouth, co-sponsored by the Foreign Literature and Languages Department and the History Department. Following last semester's topic on the Years of Lead, a period of socio-political turmoil and political terrorism between the 1960s and 1980s in Italy, we will be showing films regarding organized crime this semester.

Our second film this semester is "Criminal Novel" (2005):

Italy, the 1970s, in the grip of molded politics, corruption and the mafia. A small circle of friends grows up in Rome and decides to use their skills and connections with organized crime and specialists to carve out their own share (IMDB).

Free admission. All films have English subtitles.
