Description: Please join us for the 32nd Annual African American Read-In sponsored by The Leduc Center for Civic Engagement, Black History 4 Seasons, and the Frederick Douglass Unity House on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 3:00pm- 5:00pm via Zoom.
We are a seeking participants to read passages from Black/African American authors, writers, poets, and spoken word artists; participants are also welcome to share original works such as poems, essays, music lyrics or other forms of artwork. Each participant is limited to no more than five minutes and must email Peggy Dias at Peggy.dias@umassd.edu or Diane Gomes at Dgomes@umassd.edu to confirm their time available time slot between 3-5PM.
