Abstract:
What does it look like working at the most prominent international fisheries organization? With great curiosity, I spent three months of my sabbatical leave during the Fall of 2017 at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy. During this talk, I will highlight some global projects and institutional instruments related to marine capture fisheries, as well as bits and pieces of life in the ancient city of Rome.
