Communicating Effectively

Description: Effective communication is an important tool for building trust and respect, resolving differences, and creating a positive and productive campus environment. Despite their best intentions people are often misunderstood, which can cause frustrating conflict in personal and professional relationships. In this workshop participants will:
• Review communication practices that can have a positive impact
• Identify different verbal and nonverbal communication styles
• Learn about and practice managing difficult conversations
