Teaching Community in Times of Crisis

Description: The recent executive order on immigration has had an immediate impact on members of our campus community. To address these new challenges, the OFD will host a round table to allow faculty to share personal stories, develop strategies and provide historical context around these events. The hope is that we can work together to maintain the safety of those in our community, while also ensuring that students achieve their academic goals. While the event is planned as an open forum, Lisa Knauer (Sociology and Anthropology), Doug Roscoe (Political Science) and Eric Larson (Crime and Justice Studies) will offer introductory remarks.
