Description: New Employee Orientation sessions are a required aspect of onboarding for all benefited new hires. Topics of discussion include: an introduction to important departments on campus; an overview of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines; and other pertinent information. Also discussed are employee benefits, including: retirement savings plans, Group Insurance Commission (GIC) health, life, and long-term disability insurance benefits, and other benefit options available to employees. Sessions are scheduled on a biweekly basis, as they are based upon hiring patterns. At this time, all sessions are being held via Zoom video call.
