  • Description: Learn how to recognize the signs of an overdose, perform rescue breathing, and administer Narcan. Narcan blocks opioids and restores normal breathing when sprayed into the nose of someone who has overdosed on opiates. It is safe, easy to administer and has no potential for abuse. Free & open to the community. Light refreshments provided. Training provided by Seven Hills. Sponsored by LiveWell: Office of Health Education, Promotion, & Wellness.

  • Description: The second workshop in the three part series covers the use of Photoshop’s sophisticated painting and selecting tools. Participants learn about blending modes, as well as the creation of custom brushes. The selecting tools are used to separate objects from their backgrounds to create a composite image. Previous Photoshop experience, or Part 1 of the Introduction class is required. This workshop takes place in the Library, room 135.
