CVPA at UMass Dartmouth has partnered with the Massachusetts Art Education Association to host Art All-State Massachusetts on June 12th and 13th. Now in its 28th year, Art All-State brings 144 of the Commonwealth's most creative high school juniors to the University for an intense two-day experience. These students will work with 16 artist/mentors who are all accomplished in a variety of art related media. The artist/mentors will introduce the students to the rich arts community of downtown New Bedford, and assist them in experiencing the vast possibilities of what their role can be in the greater creative community. The groups will explore the theme "Limits: No Limits" through which they will solve creative problems to create installation art using limited materials and time. Please join us for a public viewing, and gallery exhibition showcasing the work of the artist/mentors on Saturday June 13th from 2:30pm to 4pm at the CVPA building, UMass Dartmouth.
