Description: The Boivin Center for French Language and Culture proudly presents 18th and 19th Century American historian, Francois Furstenberg who will present a lecture on his latest book When the United States Spoke French: Five refugees Who Shaped a Nation. The lecture will take place on Friday, April 8th in the Grand Reading Room of the Claire T. Carney Library at 4 PM. A Q&A, book signing and light reception will follow the lecture.
