Description: Reverend Irene Monroe, an ordained minister and motivational speaker, covers the latest popular cultural headlines as the host of "All Revved Up!" on WGBH (89.7) on Boston Public Radio and "The Take" on New England Channel NEWS (NECN).
Drawing from critical race theory, African American, queer and religious studies, Reverend Monroe will discuss structural and state sanctioned violence and the impact such violence has on our communities. She will help us reflect on ways to address such violence as we all seek to build stronger inclusive communities.
Light refreshments will be served.
