Description: You are all invited to an early lunchtime reading and Q&A by Portuguese-American author Frank X. Gaspar, hosted by POR 217, a course in Portuguese-American Literature, and sponsored by the UMass Dartmouth Department of Portuguese and Tagus Press in the Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture.
Our invited guest will read from his poems and discuss his work with students and faculty.
A light Portuguese-American lunch will also be part of our warm invitation to all. Let's take a moment to come together in the spirit of welcoming that is at the heart of local Portuguese-American culture, and recognize the important relationship with this community that our department and related university programs and activities represent.
