Red Watch Band Alcohol Overdose Prevention Bystander Intervention Training

Cost: Free. Registration required.
Description: The Red Watch Band Bystander Intervention Training is peer led training that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and intervene effectively in an alcohol-related medical emergency. Red Watch Band will give you the confidence to do the right thing when a person's life could depend on it.
Participants receive a certificate, resource guide, and a wristband.
Trainings are 75 to 90 minutes, with 15 to 25 participants.
Red Watch Band workshops can be arranged upon request for UMass Dartmouth-affiliated groups, including academic classes, athletic teams, student organizations, and residential communities. Email (livewell@umassd.edu) or call (508.910.6965) for more information.
