Description: Take a brief tour through several early landmarks in the history of sound art:
moments in the development of 20th century music that locate an active
listening as key to sound's powerful role in the visual arts.
American artist ANDY GRAYDON works in the mediums of sound works, films,
media installations, photographs and performances. His work has been exhibited
at The New Museum, Art in General, and Participant Inc. (all New York); The
Berlinische Galerie, Berlin; The Frye Museum, Seattle; Kunsthalle Exnergasse,
Vienna; The Honolulu Museum of Art, Hawaii; and many other locations.
