Description: Armin Langer (3/21 4pm LARTS 119) will give a talk entitled, Salaam-Shalom: Interfaith Activism in Europe. Langer is the coordinator and one of the founders of Salaam-Shalom, an interfaith initiative that promotes peaceful religious coexistence and united resistance against growing the social discrimination and violence aimed at different religious groups in Europe. Interfaith discourse is necessary for a healthy society, and we help to ensure this by providing an outlet for communicating concerns about the discrimination and violence towards minority/religious groups and refugees today.
