Description: Transgender Day of Remembrance, observed on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, is dedicated to honoring the memory of transgender individuals whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
The Center for Women, Gender & Sexuality invites you to participate in the Transgender Day of Remembrance by joining us in reading a name and brief narrative about a transgender individual whose life was taken in 2024. This reading will take place on Wednesday, November 20th from 12pm-1pm in the Campus Center Commuter Cafeteria.
If you would like to participate, please email us at cwgs@umassd.edu. The first twenty-four volunteers will be selected to participate.
