Topic: Universal Design for Learning: Teaching Students with Disabilities and Their Peers with Inclusive Strategies

Crary will share an overview of teaching and supporting students with disabilities and learning differences. The concept of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strives to create a academic experience, which incorporates strategies that reach students with disabilities, as well as other communities with important ways of learning and working, such as English language learners. This presentation will provide participants with basic concepts of UDL, as well as tangible strategies and techniques to use in the classroom. Crary will also be available to answer questions as well as strategies on working with students with LD and difference. Lunch will be provided, please RSVP on the main event calendar.
