Description: Facilitated by Elisabeth Buck, Assistant Professor of English.
This workshop will first present an overview of UMassD's new tutoring center, the Multiliteracy and Communication Center (MCC), and how you can best utilize it as a resource to support students. This session will also provide strategies for helping students understand and process course readings, with particular emphasis on how to assist them with breaking down and analyzing e-textbooks.
