- Description: The Multiliteracy & Communication Center will be hosting a series of weekly creative writing workshops focusing on history. Writers will utilize primary sources to create and explore projects of their choice such as short stories, living history performances, video game plots, and more.
Starting February 5th, and continuing weekly throughout the semester, stop by the MCC on Wednesdays 10-10:50 a.m. to work on a fun project and enjoy a snack with fellow creators!

- Description: Introducing Sufi music and culture for the first time on campus. Sufism originated from the heart of South Asia dating all the way back to the 1300s.
Come join us for a fun-filled and an ethereal performance by House of Iman, all the way from New York City.
The performance is followed by cultural hors d'oeuvre and an open dance floor featuring a variety of songs for everyone to dance on. Looking forward to hosting you all.

Online Teaching and Learning Strategies

- Description: Online Teaching and Learning Strategies is a fully online four-week course that introduces faculty to the current research and best practices for online teaching and learning. Faculty will work independently, collaboratively with peers from various disciplines across campus, and with Instructional Designers to design and build one unit of online instruction in a myCourses site. Any faculty interested in learning more about teaching online is encouraged to participate in the course.

Relay for Life

- Description: Want to have fun, make friends, and make a difference in the lives of people fighting cancer? Come to our Relay for Life Event! Relay For Life at UMass Dartmouth is a team fundraising cancer walk event where team members take turns walking around a track to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Our event is held in the campus quad from noon to midnight (weather permitting, or in the gym).
Each team is encouraged to set up a themed campsite at the event and continues their fundraising efforts by collecting donations for food, goods, games, and activities. This money will count towards their overall team fundraising goal.
We generally have bouncy houses, games, sports competitions, music and performers, food, and so much more every year! It is a day filled with fun and celebrating how far we have come in the fight against cancer, while working to find the cure. Start a team with your friends or your club, or come as you are!
