Description: Interested in learning more about career planning for a pre-health focus? Thinking about medical, dentistry, pharmacy, optometry, veterinary, or physical therapy schools or other health professional graduate programs? Join this workshop to learn about pre-health advising at UMass Dartmouth, choosing a major, prerequisites, admission tests, extracurricular activities, and how to get involved. We will also cover the basic timeline for applications, how to begin researching schools, and the resources that can support your research.
This workshop will be led by Dr. Frank Scarano, the pre-health advisor.
