Free Showing of the movie "Till: Based on the True Story"

When: Tuesday, February 28, 2023
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Cost: Free
Description: Join the SAIL Office and the Frederick Douglass Unity House for a free showing of the new movie "Till" based on the true story of Emmett Till and the struggles his mother went through after his murder.

From the movie's website: "Till is a profoundly emotional and cinematic film about the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley's relentless pursuit of justice for her 14 year old son, Emmett Till, who, in 1955, was lynched while visiting his cousins in Mississippi. In Mamie's poignant journey of grief turned to action, we see the universal power of a mother's ability to change the world."

We hope the campus community will join us in viewing this timely and poignant film.
