Description: Join us as we honor September 11th by assisting with the harvest at the YMCA farm where all the harvest is donated to local food pantries. The 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance was created as a permanent and positive legacy, rekindling the spirit of unity that existed immediately after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks and honoring the 9/11 victims, heroes and all those who rose in service in response to the terrorist attacks that changed our nation. It brings together cultures, bridges differences, and unites citizens of goodwill in a spirt of unity and commitment. Join us for a wonderful afternoon in the fields!
