The duration of the show is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

We hope you enjoy blistering banter, inconceivable plot twists, passive aggressive repartee, watching people eat, or simply appeasing your friend or family member in the cast because if so you're in for a treat!

This is the giving tree of plays; each and every read uncovers another clever witticism. Oscar Wilde wrote this classic as a social satire, making a mockery of Victorian ideals and casting a spotlight on the era itself. Even the title of the show and the name of the protagonist are comments on Victorian behavior because during this time, writers did not often write satire but rather demonstrated true depictions of their lives and ideals. Look for the carefully concealed secret code.

Remember that it was written in a time when seduction, talk of homoerotic nature, and general frivolity must be hidden between the margins. I hope that you find The Importance of Being Earnest as immensely hilarious and witty as we do.
