This interdisciplinary, interprofessional research team, which has worked together for the past two and a half years, will share what has worked for them in conducting research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on nurses. Specific topics include symptoms of PTSD, turnover intention, and nurses' experience caring for patients with COVID-19. Professoes Kellog, Schierberl Scherr, and Ayotte will discuss how they collected data and continue their research collaboration.. Additionally, they will present some of their quantitative and qualitative research findings on nurses caring for patients with COVID-19. Their collaborative research has resulted in multiple conference presentations, three manuscript publications (to date), and a seed grant.. The purpose of this presentation is to present what the team learned, not only about COVID and nursing but also what has worked for this research team.
