60 minute walking tour of First year housing, Dining, and academic buildings.

Contemplative Pedagogy Faculty Learning Community

- Description: The Contemplative Practices and Pedagogy faculty learning community (FLC) will begin its monthly meetings next Thursday, September 22, from 12:30-1:45. This newly formed FLC will focus on ways to incorporate contemplative practices into the classroom. These practices can be as simple and, frankly, as common as reflective journaling & deep reading. The community will support and encourage colleagues wanting to incorporate these practices into their classroom.
Participants need no prior experience, and all are welcome to join us. The session next week will focus on setting intentions for our teaching this semester. No advance reading or prep required! The remaining fall dates are October 20, November 17 and December 8. Mark your calendar now and save those dates if you are interested.
