Yoga Lab sponsored by FDUH

- Description: FDUH is sponsoring Yoga Lab every Wednesday instructed by Sandra Marie, Holistic Practitioner. The first installment of Yoga Lab will occur every Wednesday, 5:00pm - 6:45pm at Woodland Commons and will run through Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Yoga Lab is a creative and immersive experience into the culture of overall health and wellness. Students will be guided through functional movement, themed discussions, mindfulness activities, and meditation practices. Materials for the lab will be provided to participants. Sigma Xi Research Exhibition

- Description: Two-day poster exhibition showcasing the research being done by students, staff, and faculty at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Presenters will be at their posters from 1 pm until 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon (April 20) and from 10 am until 12 noon on Thursday (April 21) in the Claire T. Carney Library Livingroom. All members of the University community are cordially invited to visit the exhibition to see the research activities of our colleagues. This event is organized by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Chapter of Sigma Xi.

Online Teaching and Learning Strategies
- Location: Online
- Contact: CITS Instructional Development
- Description: A rigorous four-week, fully online certification course that introduces faculty to the current research and best practices for online teaching and learning. Using their own discipline-specific course materials for activities, faculty will work independently, collaboratively with peers from across campus, and with Instructional Designers to design and build one unit of online instruction in a myCourses site. This unit will meet the Quality Online Course Review Rubric criteria and be a model that faculty can reference and replicate as they continue to develop their upcoming fully online course(s).

UMassD Conversations with Employer: Johnson & Johnson
- Location: MacLean Campus Center, Blue & Gold Welcome Center

- Description: Johnson & Johnson, a global leader in the healthcare industry will be at UMass Dartmouth for a drop-in Meet & Greet as well as an information session. They have full-time and internship opportunities for graduate students, as well as juniors and seniors. Their target recruiting areas include data analysis, supply chain management, sales, marketing, accounting, and finance. This is a great opportunities for students from all majors to meet recruiters and learn more about working at Johnson & Johnson. The Drop-In Meet & Greet will take place 1:30-3:30pm in the Blue & Gold Room, MacLean Campus Center. Students attending this portion will be speaking with a recruiter, so bring a printed resume! The Info Session will take place from 4:00-5:00pm in Library 207. All majors are welcome. All school years are welcome (freshman and sophomore, that means you!)
